Two weeks ago, I got to photograph Ken, Stephanie and their kids at Horn Pond in Woburn, MA. The morning of, we weren't sure if we'd be able to do the photoshoot, since it was raining and cold. The rain cleared up for the shoot, but the wind did not! It was a blustery day, with the wind lingering from the storm.
The photoshoot was on the first weekend of November, which was about the last weekend of full fall colors in New England. The colors were out in full force! I love finding places where the sun is streaming through the trees to really bring out the color!
We turned the wind into an advantage for us. Rarely in the fall do photos actually have falling leaves in the shot since they are so few and far between. With so much wind during this photoshoot I was able to get several shots with falling leaves in the frame.
Getting Eveline to sit still and look at the camera was no easy feat, but thanks to her mom, dad and brother's help in directing her attention, we got some great shots!
Niko and Eveline had such an adorable sibling dynamic. On our walk, he was always looking out for her.
The beautiful tree-lined paths around Horn Pond made for a gorgeous setting to do family photos.
